Lukas M. Fuchs is an interdisciplinarily skilled migration and refugee researcher with international work experience at the intersection of international relations between states, international movement of people and the social integration of migrants. In addition to Germany, his methodologically diverse research has taken him to Uganda, Kenya and Israel, where he has worked for NGOs and the IOM, among others. In his PhD research, he is addressing questions relating to cultural diversification amid refugee migration, values ​​and their meaning for refugees' sense of belonging. At DeZIM Institute, he conducts research on return and re-migration aspirations of refugees. He is also a member of the Global Mental Health research group at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
